Ashland Hiking Home
Six of us hardy souls braved the unseasonable cold to check out the wildflowers at Steve's 40-acre property off DIM. Although we barely made it 1/3- to 1/2-way round the seasonal lake before the cold got to us, we hit a gold mine of flowers. Not only did we check off almost every one of the 35 plants on the 2022 list, we discovered another 30 more!
So, we're going to come back in two weeks folks, for a combination wildflower, (Eva-led) buterfly and open birding day. Should be great fun.
Oue next scheduled WW would be Friday, July4, but since no wants to miss the Ashland July 4th parade, we're moving it to Saturday, July 5.
